IFTA will honour a pioneer and leading light of the Irish Film & Television community through our Tribute To... strand each year. The recipient of the IFTA Tribute is someone who has shown creativity and unique skill within Irish film and/or television throughout their career.

The Irish Film and Television Academy is delighted to invite our members to an exclusive tribute event Niall Tóibín - A Life On Screen. An intimate event where the Academy will pay tribute to one of our nations finest and most established screen and stage actors. Niall's film and television career has spanned many decades and he has delighted us in his many varied roles in projects such as The Irish R.M, Ballykissangel, Veronica Guerin, Far and Away and The Clinic.

The Irish Film and Television Academy is delighted to announce details of Cathal O'Shannon - A Life In Television - an intimate IFTA Tribute event. Cathal is one of Ireland's national treasures and most highly regarded broadcast journalists of our time. His work has always spoken to the Irish people with a certainty, clarity and a wit, seldom found in modern television.
