IFTA is delighted to invite Irish Film & Television Academy Members to a screening of Circus Born at 8.00pm on Sunday, 13th of December 2009, in The Fossetts Big Top, Kilmainham Gate, IMMA, The Royal Hospital Kilmainham.

ABOUT THE FILM

Borderline Productions presents A Matt Skinner Film, A Documenting the Arts Project funded by the Irish Arts Council and the Irish Film Board.

Circus Born is the strangely uncelebrated story of the Irish circus tradition. The Fossett Family's Ireland's National Circus, is the oldest continuously touring circus in the world. The Fossett family are steeped in circus for generations; some of them perform with shows of world renown but are they especially lucky or particularly cursed to be Circus Born?
