Maria Doyle Kennedy

Maria Doyle Kennedy is an actor and singer with a career spanning over 30 years. Doyle Kennedy's debut film role was in the first of "The Barrytown Trilogy" The Commitments by Roddy Doyle. Other film roles include Moll Flanders, The General, Gregory's Two Girls, Sing Street, and Wolfwalkers.

She has had an extensive career in television appearing in multiple award-winning and critically acclaimed shows such as Father Ted, The Tudors, Dexter, Outlander and Kin.

Maria recieved her first IFTA win in 2009 for her impressive performance in The Tudors which she starred in over a number of years. Maria then went on too star in the hit Drama by Peter Mckenna, Kin for two season which granted her another IFTA win in 2022 and a Nomination in 2024 for her performance as Bridget Goggins.
