An old Explorer close to freezing in the North Pole ponders what brought him there in the first place. He recalls his student days at Trinity College in Dublin when he studied under the enigmatic Professor Orit. Years later the student, who is now an old man, travels to the top of the world in search of his old professor and finds something more magical than he could have bargained for.
