Sensation in cinemas across Ireland from November 4th

IFTA nominated feature film Sensation is to be released in cinemas across Ireland from November 4th.

Directed by IFTA member Tom Hall and starring IFTA member Domhnall Gleeson, Sensation is a darkly comic love story, that begins as a story of lust. When Donal’s father dies, he inherits the family farm and money. Striking up a relationship with Kiwi Call Girl (Luanne Gordon), they evolve from client and call-girl, becoming lovers and eventually business partners.

Sensation received three nominations at the 2011 IFTA Awards in the categories of Film, Director of Film for Tom Hall and Production Design by Tamara Conboy. Lead actor Gleeson won an IFTA in 2011 for Best Actor in a Lead Role Television for his performance in TV movie When Harvey Met Bob.

Sensation is an Irish/Dutch co-production from Blinder Films and River Park Film. It is produced by Katie Holly and Kieron J.Walsh and was financed by the Irish Film Board, Rotterdam Film Fund, Screen Scene and Section 481.

Sensation is released on November 4th and can be seen at the following locations:
• Dublin: The IFI, Cineworld, Screen, IMC Dun Laoghaire, Omniplex Santry, Vue Liffey Valley
• Cork: Cork Mahon Point
• Galway: The Eye Galway, Omniplex Galway
• Limerick: Omniplex Limerick
